Dr Kshitij Bedmutha is a consultant interventional cardiologist with an
experience of more than 10 years.

Dr Kshitij firmly believes that "Prevention is Better than Cure" and gives expert guidance on management of lifestyle disorders like hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol disorders , obesity and cardiac care. He has holistic approach towards patient care beyond cardiac interventions.

Education:

He has completed his MBBS from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital Mumbai. He Completed his Post Graduation Course -MD (Medicine) from Sion Hospital, Mumbai. He did his superspecility DM (Cardiology) from TNMC & BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai. He has a glorious academic record and a rank holder in university.

Experience:

Assistant Professor in department of Cardiology at Nair Hospital from the year 2016 to 2018.

Consultant cardiologist at Reliance Hospital ,Koperkhairane from 2018

Expertise:

He is expert in interpretation of ECG (Electro Cardiogram), he has performed more than 20000 echocardiography(2D -ECHO) including pediatric and neonatal echoes.

He is well versed in managing acute emergency cardiac conditions. He has performed more than 5000 coronary angiographies through radial (hand) as well as femoral route(groin).Performed more than 2000 detective and emergency angioplasties(PTCA) including complex PTCA. He is well versed with newer technologies like IVUS and OCT (Image guided Angioplasty), FFR and IFR guided PTCA.

He is also expert in pacemaker ,ICD (Intra Cardiac Defibrillator) and CRT device implantation. He also performs structure intervention like congenital defect closures like ASD, VSD and PDA device closures and percutaneous valvotomies like balloon mitral valvotomy.

Currently practicing in Navi Mumbai and adjoining areas, he is incharge of Cardiology Department at Indravati Hospital Airoli. He is attached to Reliance Hospital Koparkhairne as a visiting consultant. He also does procedures at PKC Hospital ,Vashi, MPCT Hospital ,Sanpada, Aditi Hospital Mulund, Platinum Hospital ,Mulund and Kalsekar Hospital, Mumbra.

Publications and Awards:

He has various publications and has actively participated in cardiac camps in Nasik, Jalgaon and Bhusawal.

He was awarded by minority cell of Indian national congress for his work in Cardiology in the year 2016.
